Quickstart

From project folder to private URL

You need Claude Code or Codex, plus Git and Node.js. Installation takes two commands.

View the Tamari plugin source on GitHub

Claude Code

Add the public marketplace, then install Tamari.

/plugin marketplace add getontamari/tamari-plugin
/plugin install tamari@tamari

Codex

Run both commands in your terminal.

codex plugin marketplace add getontamari/tamari-plugin
codex plugin add tamari@tamari

Start a new Codex conversation after installation so the Tamari skill is available from the beginning.

Deploy your project

  1. Open a Git repository in your coding agent. Only tracked files are uploaded, so commit the files your app needs and keep secrets such as .env untracked.
  2. Say “deploy this”. Tamari detects Node, Python, Go, and static sites from the project files.
  3. On your first deploy, follow the device sign-in link in the terminal and approve it in your browser.
  4. Open the private HTTPS URL. Share access later by verified email when someone else needs it.

Try the free static example

Open the habit grid, save its HTML as index.html in a new Git repository, run git add index.html and commit it, then say “deploy this.” The Free plan runs one static app. Apps with a server runtime need a paid plan.

Before you deploy

A local SQLite file and browser storage both live on one machine. Cloud instances can restart, and browser storage does not follow a person to another device. Ask Tamari for managed Postgres when your app needs shared or durable data.
